Custom figure commissions
You do not need to have a 3D file to get started. Tell us what figure you have in mind and we will work with you to find the best way to turn it into a physical resin-printed, hand-painted piece.
How it works
Get in touch and tell us what figure you would like to create. You can send illustrations, photos, character references, pose, clothing, expression, approximate size and any detail that matters to you. You do not need to have an STL yet.
We discuss the project with you and check whether it is viable. If you already have an STL, we review its scale, part separation, joints, stability and suitability for resin printing. If no model exists, we define the digital sculpting work required.
When the STL needs to be created from scratch, we prepare the references and Hokori Studio evaluates the sculpting work. The price depends on the complexity of the character, pose, accessories, clothing, base and composition. You will know the cost before any sculpting begins.
Once the project has been defined, you reserve your place through our Custom Figure product. The slot secures your position in our printing and painting schedule. If the STL still needs to be created, your production place remains reserved while the model is being developed.
If 3D sculpting is required, development begins with Hokori Studio. You will stay in contact with the sculptor throughout the process so you can review the progress, provide feedback and approve the agreed details before the figure moves into production.
Custom digital sculpting
If your figure does not yet exist as a 3D file, we can develop an exclusive sculpt for your project together with Hokori Studio. During this stage you can stay in contact with the sculptor, review the design and help ensure the figure matches the agreed concept before it is printed.
Custom 3D sculpting is quoted separately from printing, painting and shipping.
HOKORI STUDIO
Once the STL is finished and approved, your project is ready to enter production when your reserved slot arrives. If you supplied a print-ready STL from the beginning, you move directly to this stage after securing your place.
When your turn arrives, we prepare the files, print the different parts in resin, assemble and prepare the surfaces, and finally hand-paint the figure according to the finish agreed for your project.
Two paths, one result
Send us the model before placing your order. We check that it is suitable for production, you reserve your slot, and then you wait for your printing and painting turn.
We study your idea, Hokori Studio quotes the sculpting work, you reserve your slot, and the STL is developed with you while your production place is already secured.
