News from Veneroso Figures: new setup, new figures, and ongoing projects
Once again, we're back on the blog to tell you what's happening at the Veneroso Figures workshop. These past few days have been quite busy: we've upgraded part of our setup, have several collaborations in the pipeline, are testing new tools, and, of course, continue to produce figures from the workshop.
Additionally, we're already working on one of our upcoming projects: Dante from Devil May Cry.
Upgrading part of our setup
One of the most significant developments these days has been the upgrade of part of our work setup.
We have several pending collaborations and wanted to prepare the workshop for everything to come. To do this, we've incorporated new tools that will allow us to work more comfortably and efficiently.
We are currently in a testing phase, experimenting with the new equipment and seeing how we can integrate it into our usual process of printing, preparing, and finishing figures.
We can't reveal too much about some of these collaborations yet, but we have several projects that we're very excited to share when the time comes.
A new golden Rumi leaves the workshop
We've also finished and shipped a new golden Rumi.
These types of figures are particularly interesting because metallic and golden finishes require a lot of care to ensure the surface has the right appearance and that the final result retains all the details of the sculpture.
After the entire printing, preparation, and painting process, the figure is now ready to join its new collection.
We hope its new owner enjoys it very much!
Some figures also ship unpainted
Not all of our orders are fully painted figures.
This week, we also shipped an unpainted Darth Vader and an unpainted Arthur Red.
The unpainted option is designed for those who prefer to receive the figure prepared and carry out the painting process themselves.
It's a very interesting alternative for artists, collectors, and model-making enthusiasts who want to enjoy the creative part of the process and give the figure their own style.
Replenishment of a figure
This week, we also remade one of the pieces of a figure that, unfortunately, broke during transport. 😔📦
Although we take every care to prepare and protect each order before shipping it, once the package leaves our workshop, there are factors beyond our control.
But there's one thing that is within our control: taking care of the problem.
If a piece arrives damaged or breaks during transport, you don't have to worry. We will replace the damaged pieces so you can enjoy your figure as it should have arrived.
For us, just because the package left our workshop in perfect condition doesn't mean the problem stops being ours once it's in the hands of the carrier.
We know that receiving a figure you've been waiting for and finding a broken piece can be frustrating. That's why we want our customers to have the peace of mind knowing that if something happens during transport, we will find a solution.
In this case, we have remanufactured the damaged piece to send it again and restore the figure to perfect condition.
Because behind every order is a person who has trusted our work, and that trust is worth much more to us than the cost of reprinting a piece.
August is approaching, and holidays are here
As happens every year, August also affects our work schedule.
During this period, the eBay store will be temporarily in vacation mode.
This means that some orders and shipments may have to wait a little longer than usual.
We prefer to give advance notice so that those considering placing an order know that during August, we may have different preparation times.
Of course, we will continue to focus on our projects and will return refreshed and ready to tackle everything we have planned.
We are currently working on Dante
And while all this is happening, one figure is already occupying our time in the workshop: Dante from Devil May Cry.
We are currently working on this piece and preparing everything necessary to achieve the result we are looking for.
Dante is a character with a very recognizable aesthetic full of details, so the painting phase will be especially important to ensure the figure correctly conveys his personality and appearance.
There's still work to be done, but we can't wait to show you the final result.
And this is just the beginning
Between new tools, collaborations, replenishments, orders, and new projects, these last few weeks have been quite intense at Veneroso Figures.
We are using this period to improve our workspace and test new tools that will allow us to continue improving our process.
And, above all, we have several projects in hand that we will reveal little by little.
For now, we continue to work, we continue to print, and we continue to fill the workshop with figures.
See you in the next Veneroso Figures update. And, in the meantime, we hope you enjoy these new pieces as much as we enjoy creating them.
